Sotavento Hotel & Yacht Club

The location was perfect for us, just across the ferry to Isla Mujeres and a 10 minutes walk to the beach Playa Langosta. Bus stations are also very close in both directions…The room was big, bathroom also, we liked the balcony. the AC was working great. Swimming pool is in a shaded area which was great in the middle of the summer. There is a restaurant where they serve breakfast and every day we were very satisfied with it. you can also use restaurant for lunch and dinner. It is tasty and not too expensive. The staff was also very friendly and helpfull. It was also calm and safe and you get a lot for a price you pay

The most peaceful hotel in Cancun! Our ground level room had a direct exit to the inner garden and the yacht port. Wonderful! The beds are stated single but they are actually bigger (1.5-Person size). The room and bathroom were sterile clean which was rare in Cancun.

Good location, not far from the beach, close to some restaurants, and grocery stores, but otherwise on a quiet street. Comfortable, nice, clean place, easy to find, and for good money.

Good location (right at the lagoon, 3 min walk to restaurants, pharmacy, small convenience store, also not far away from the beach). Rooms are big and pretty clean, beds are very comfortable. Shower water pressure is surprisingly strong, even at the top (2nd) floor. Pool area is really nice with a good size pool and lots of shade. The breakfast although simple, is quite good. Great value for money.

WE LOVED THAT THE STAFF LET US CHECK-IN EARLIER. Our original flight at 11pm was canceled, so we had to wait another 3 hours for our flight, so we were really tired. WE LOVED THE LOCATION- It was at kilometer (km.) 4. A walking distance to get the Ultramar Ferry to Isla Mujeres. In the way there, there were about 5 kiosks by the lagoon. Another thing that we LIKED was the hotel’s A la Carte BREAKFAST since it was very tasty. The presentation could have been better. A tiny bowl of fruit could have filled the emptiness in the Chorizo Omelette plate. It had a small portion of refried, black beans with 2 pieces of white bread. My in-law’s red chilaquiles with 2 fried eggs looked & was delicious! WE LOVED THE NICE LAGOON, right next to the Palapa structured restaurant! We LIKED the high & big Palapa that provided a NICE SHADE to look at the lagoon. The the lagoon & yachts can be seen from the swimming pool, as well. WE ALSO LIKED THE NATIVE TREES AND PLANTS that serve as gardens. We even found a ripe mango under a mango tree. WE LOVED PLAYA DELFINES, at 14 kilometers away from the hotel. The city bus charges $12 pesos to get there, from 1 block, from the hotel. There was a convenience store (OXXO) at about 1 block + 300 steps from the hotel. WE LIKED THE AC. It was very effective!
